Our Love Song to You — Our Farewell Concert
with a special performance by
the "Diva La Difference" - Suede!
The concert (June 20th) was a bittersweet, wonderful, and musical goodbye to the community. The concert celebrated the many experiences of love, especially the love that the chorus feels for its supporters and audience.
The LGCW thanks all of our supporters over the past 26 years!
LGCW Is Saying Goodbye
After 26 vibrant years as a grass-roots community chorus, the Lesbian & Gay Chorus of Washington,
D.C. will be taking an indefinite break from rehearsing and performing. LGCW’s concert on
Sunday, June 20, 2010 will be our last for the foreseeable future. Facing challenges from decreasing
membership, revenue and resources, current members made the difficult decision to
cease LGCW’s traditional choral operations following our June concert.
